Bank of Punjab, PSEB Launched Digital Bank Account For Freelancer

Federal Minister IT Syed Aminul Haque's initiatives, more facilities for freelancers. Facilitates digital account opening and debit/credit card acquisition for freelancers

Launch of facilities in collaboration with Pakistan Software Export Board and Bank of Punjab. Member IT Syed Junaid Imam, President Bank of Punjab Zafar Masood and other officials participated in the launch ceremony.

Freelancers will be able to open accounts in rupees and dollars sitting at home. The important role of freelancers in the development of IT sector cannot be forgotten. Federal IT Minister Syed Aminul Haq is trying to take the IT export in the country to 15 billion dollars. Steps are being taken to solve the problems of the IT industry and give them maximum incentives.

Member IT Syed Junaid Imam said that in order to achieve the target of 15 billion dollars of IT export on the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, where the Ministry of IT is playing its role, commercial banks should also help IT companies and freelancers. facilities for and introduce their own banking products as many IT companies have opened their accounts abroad due to non-provision of facilities by commercial banks which is causing huge loss of foreign exchange to Pakistan.
